RYLA is slated for April 25-27 in Idyllwild. It's time to start planning.
RYLA provides 11th grade students with the opportunity to be inspired by a diverse group of exceptional speakers, make life-long friends through fellowship activities, and discuss the ethical and social issues of today.
Timeline
We are finalizing the RYLA 2025 timeline, including club registration deadlines, application period, facilitator orientation and more, so be on the lookout for future emails with this information.
Process
We are currently updating the RYLA package for clubs to help ensure all clubs have the same information and all students have the same experience during the application process. This includes ensuring all students complete an interview process with their sponsoring club. If you need any assistance with the process or want someone to speak to your club about RYLA just let us know.
Budgeting
RYLA has seen 30% increases in the costs of camp facilities, food, transportation and supplies due to inflation. For us to maintain the quality program we all count on every year, the cost per student in 2025 will be $500. It is our goal to be able to maintain this cost per student for several years, as we are also looking at other funding opportunities for the program, including grants and underwriting.
What’s next?
Talk with your club about how many students you would like to sponsor for RYLA 2025, make sure you set aside money in your club budget, then keep an eye out for your club information packet, which will include:
- List of high schools
- Timeline
- Registration process
- Interview questions
- Facilitator information
- Helpful tips
- We will be in touch again soon. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please let me know.
Your club's RYLA contacts
