This marks my final article for "From the Desk of District Governor Don Fipps." As of midnight today, District Governor Dianne Crawford will take over. I am fully confident that she will excel in infusing our District with the Magic of Rotary.
It has been both a pleasure and an honor to serve the 63 clubs and over 2,900 members of Rotary District 5340.
I extend my gratitude to all the Club Presidents, District staff, Committee Chairs, Assistant Governors, and the entire leadership of District 5340. This past year has been enjoyable, and together, we have achieved much.
In the 2023-24 period, our members across 63 Rotary and Rotaract clubs have significantly impacted the communities we serve, with an estimated:
- 751 Projects
- 11,379 Volunteers
- 66,280 Hours of Work
- $1,998,884 in Expenditures
