The time to take the lead on LEAD is now!
LEAD is scheduled for October 11 &12 2025, eight months away but clubs can start working with their sponsored middle schools to find those deserving leaders - 7th Graders today but 8th Graders come next fall.
Successful programs are already working with school administrators to identify candidates in the current school year. Although some of those students may not return in the fall (this is a military-centric area), having several alternates alleviates that problem and reduces the "last-minute" planning at the start of the new school year.
They are also setting aside the funds in next year's budget: $300 per student for two students - one boy and one girl - per school.
The LEAD Committee is ready to visit any club who wants more information. We have a short 10-minute pep talk to get your club excited about this wonderful investment in the future of our youth.
