The Rotary Club of Escondido is pleased to announce our honorees for the 22nd annual Coeur de Cuisine, to be held February 28, 2027.
Johnny and Donna Watson have been pillars of every community to which they have belonged. From Oklahoma State University to New York, to Escondido, they have quietly helped others. In Escondido, Johnny served for years as the chairman of the board of Neighborhood Healthcare and helped shepherd them to enormous growth in helping others. In Rotary, he has always lent a willing hand, especially in international involvement. He has rallied the club to be involved in caring for others in Rotary projects around the world and has made trips to Mexico with members from our club and others to help children with cleft palates and other dental and surgical needs.
Johnny and Donna represent the very ideal of "Service Above Self," and The Rotary Club of Escondido is pleased to honor them for their service.
