Rotaract is hosting its biggest possible event of the year called the WAPI Project and the UCSD Rotaract Club would like to invite as many Rotary clubs as possible. The event will be on Sunday, February 23, 2020 from 11:00 - 3:00 pm at UCSD Price Center Ballroom East.
The WAPI project consists of constructing water pasteurization indicators (WAPI) to help communities around the world determine water purity after heating it without boiling it. This is a useful tool for communities where energy conservation is crucial. This year's goal is to make over 1200 WAPIs to be sent out to Uganda and Oaxaca.
