Join San Diego Coastal Rotary Club for a 5K walk on May 9, 8:30-9am.
Hands of Peace empowers young people to find their voice, share their narrative and develop the compassion and skills they need to resolve conflict and serve their communities. Hands of Peace, San Diego has has many new programs focused on local San Diego youth. Rotary clubs in San Diego have partnered with Hands of Peace for many years now with service work and district grants.
There are a few fun events coming in May to support Hands of Peace including a silent auction on May 8, a walk on May 9 and a benefit on May 16. Jenny Parker from San Diego Coastal Rotary will be walking a 5K at the La Jolla Coast from 8:30am-10:00am. If you care to join her for some socially distanced, outdoor exercise and fun before your mother's day brunch, meet outside the Cave Store in La Jolla (1325 Coast Blvd, San Diego, CA 92037) and we will go from there.
