This is a virtual fundraiser with all proceeds from this event going to ProduceGood, a volunteer organization that upscales excess food to feed the hungry, solving both the problem of hunger and food waste. A representative will answer questions about their work.
To date, they have rescued 741,050 pounds and provided over 2 million servings of fresh fruits and vegetables to San Diego’s food insecure, diverting over 370 TONS of edible produce from entering the landfill.
