Every year as part of the Santee-Lakeside Rotary Club's installation dinner, members of the club donate scores of toilet paper to be given to the East County Transitional Living Center in El Cajon. The Center is a recovery center for homeless who are trying to get back on their feet. With the number of clients that are housed at any one time, the need to have toilet paper is essential to the organization. Appropriately named "Give a Sheet" this service project is one of the club's favorite outreach efforts. Shown in the picture below are members delivering this much needed commodity. Much of the paper rolls are stacked waist high behind those who took time out of their day to help club president, Karen Fleck with the delivery.
