For the third year, Rotary International (San Diego Rotary), Kiwanis International, Lions International, and Optimist International worked together to celebrate and give back to our communities with a week-long service event. Rotary and Rotaract clubs were encouraged to partner with local Kiwanis, Lions, and Optimist clubs on a project that will have a long-term impact in their community. In San Diego, our #CelebrateCommunity project featured a project at San Diego's first high school - San Diego High School on Friday, September 22, that included presentations about each of our service organizations and the youth clubs we sponsor.

They modeled doing more when we work together and affirmed when we harness the collective power of our four organizations’ 3.4 million members we can #CelebrateCommunity together.

The visit ended with a QR code on the screen that led to a survey allowing attendees to ask for more information from the organization of their choice or all of the above.  They had 85 responses within ten minutes!

Each student in attendance received details how they can register for the next Student Self Leadership Program from Blanchard.com and 2,500 flyers were being distributed campus wide for all students, faculty, staff, and parents to enroll by the Sunday, September 24 deadline.
