Rotary District 5340 had a great turnout for the NAMIwalk 2024. This year, as well as supporting the great work of NAMI in San Diego and Imperial Counties, Rotarians walked to celebrate the memory of Chuck Pretto. The walk in Liberty Station had over 60 Rotary participants, and we were delighted that Kim Pretto and some of her family (including grandchildren) could join us.
And those on the District Conference Cruise also formed a walking team, what a great way to celebrate Chuck.
Rotary has raised $17,000 towards NAMI's programs in SD/IC. It is estimated that there were over 3,000 people at the walk and NAMI has raised a record $255,000. There were many Rotarians volunteering during the event.
