On June 7, 2025, the Rotary Club District 5340 hosted over 500 Rotarians at the Marriott Hotel Convention Center in Mission Valley, San Diego, to celebrate the yearly changing of the guard.
500 Rotarians descended on the Mission Valley Marriot Saturday night to celebrate a remarkable year for District 5340 and induct our new leaders. Attendees included District 5340 Past Governors, past & current leaders from LA, Orange County, Tijuana, Ensenada and Mexico City. The evening also included a special video from RI President Stephanie Urchick congratulating the District on a fantastic year. District Governor Dianne shared preliminary year end results showing 261 new members, 2 new clubs, 4 new Rotaract Clubs, 51 Interact clubs, 700+ projects, 108 District Grants 14 Global Grants, $282K donated to polio and more. The results will be final in July, but they can only go up from here! District Governor- Elect Luis Carranza was inducted along with the 2025/26 Club Presidents, Assistant Governors, District Governor Advisors and the members of the new Interact District Council. Our new leaders take office on July 1 and are ready to serve!
