It was a wonderful afternoon of celebration and memories for the members of the Rotary Club of Holtville and the guests in attendance. Rotarians shared stories of the club and Rotarian Brooks Anderholt gave a beautiful tribute to all 51 of the club’s charter members which included a blacksmith, farmers, school officials and city leaders. Among the many projects the club has supported they are most proud of giving over $1 million in scholarships to students in the community since the 1950’s. The club received numerous proclamations from the City, County, School District and Chamber of Commerce. The District Leadership team attended led by District Governor Dianne who presented a certificate of recognition from Rotary International President Stephanie Urchick.
