The Art Pratt Foundation of Old Mission Rotary presented a grant to the Ronald McDonald House of Rady Children's Hospital on October 15.  Ronald McDonald House provides a "home-away-from-home" for families with children being treated for serious, often life-threatening conditions.  They provide a place to stay, meals and the necessities of home so families can focus on caring for their critically ill or injured child.

Marci Rodin, the Director of Grants and Publications, accepted the $8,000 grant that will be used in the remodel of their kitchen.  Ronald McDonald House serves out some 125,000 free meals each year!

At San Diego' Ronald McDonald House, volunteers, staff and house guests come together to create a nurturing environment that supports families as they help their child heal.  Some 1,000 families stay for an average of 20 days every year.
