This weekend, Presidents-Elect attended PELS (formally known as PET) in Los Angeles.
We are reminded that leadership is not a title. It is a promise. PELS is Rotary's leadership training where club Presidents-Elect sharpen their skills, build community, and step into a year of service with clarity and courage.
What makes this gathering extraordinary is the scale and the spirit. Eleven districts from Rotary Zone 26/27 under one roof, 800+ leaders in the room, and countless moments of connection you cannot schedule. Handshakes that became friendships. Conversations that became plans. Stories that became fuel.
A very inspiring engagement of Rotaract Presidents-Elect was very evident and welcomed. District 5340 is one of only two districts in our zone that consistently brings Rotaractors to PELS each year - because the future does not wait! When Rotaract grows, our impact grows.
It is our hope that Creating Lasting Change will be the outcome of this year's PELS training. Great things will happen under these new leaders starting July 1, 2026. Please give them all your support. Remember they can't do it alone.
