The Santee-Lakeside Rotary club incorporates a service project into their annual installation dinner. Members bring packages of toilet paper to the event. The beneficiary of the "Give a Sheet" project is the East County Transition Living Center (ECTLC) in El Cajon. The faith-based center welcomes homeless individuals and families into the center. Some are there for a short time and others enroll in a year-long residential recovery program that includes preparing them for jobs when they leave. In the photo, you will see members holding packages but what you don't see are more packages stacked behind them. Some of the basics of life can be of the greatest value.
