Our deepest wishes go out to everyone who knew and loved Don Glover. He passed away on Wednesday, January 28th, 2026, at the age of 85.
Don was actively involved in the Rotary Club of Rancho Bernardo, serving as President for one year and mentoring many other future Presidents. He volunteered for numerous community events including the Vines and Vittles Family Festival, and in collaboration with Rotary they brought back the Christmas Tree and Menorah lighting ceremony in Rancho Bernardo. He also spearheaded several ‘End Polio’ capital campaigns including organizing two sky dive jumps, participating in both at ages 75 and 80 years old. Don served on the Rancho Bernardo Community Foundation and Spirit of the Fourth boards. Thanks to his extensive volunteer efforts, he is an esteemed member of the Rancho Bernardo Hall of Fame.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years Cathy Glover, son Jeff Glover and daughter-in-law Renee, and daughter Kristin Glover, as well as his grandchildren, Jackson Glover and Kaia Glover. We send them all love and prayers. We were all so proud to have known him. May he rest in peace.
