On April 5, please join us in helping protect our ocean, waves and beaches by participating in this public cleanup hosted by the Surfrider Foundation San Diego Chapter, the Point Loma Rotary Club, the San Diego Blood Bank, and local merchants. The time and location are noted above.
To help our neighbors in Ocean Beach, Loaves and Fishes will be collecting canned protein, tuna and peanut butter during this event. Your help would be greatly appreciated.
The first 75 volunteers that donate blood or assist with the beach cleanup will receive pizza from Luigi’s or beverage vouchers from the Harp, Wild Ales or OB Surf Lodge.
Reusable bags, buckets, gloves and grabber will be available for those that do not have their own supplies. Wear comfortable clothes, closed toe shoes, hat and sunscreen. Don’t forget your reusable cup or bottle to stay hydrated (single bottles are highly discouraged).
