We would like to recognize and thank the following dedicated members who have served on the Committee for the past 3 years.
- Polio Plus and Polio Plus Society: Richard Coutts, from the Rotary Club of San Diego. Thank you for your many years of educating us and keeping us updated on Polio. Beth Garrow, from the Rotary Club of Carlsbad Hi-Noon, will be serving that Sub Committee. We are looking forward to your knowledge an expertise.
- Stewardship: Marianne Ericsson, San Diego E-Rotary Club. Thank you for being our “Sheriff “ and making sure that all the clubs qualified for grants and were up to date on trainings and contributions. PDG Mel Gallegos, from San Diego Downtown Rotary Club, will be serving that Sub Committee. We look forward to working with you Mel.
- District Grants: Elana Levels-Craig, from Santee-Lakeside Rotary Club. Thank you for following up with all the clubs on their District Grants. Alan Turner, Rotary Club of Rancho Bernardo, will be serving as Chair. We look forward to working with you Alan.
- International Service: Jeb Bakke, from the Rotary Club of Rancho Bernardo Sunrise, will be joining our committee helping with coordination of grants.
- Peace: Michael Bardin, from the Rotary Club of La Jolla Golden Triangle will be serving. His committee will have a Sub Committee working with Scholarships and Peace Fellows.
For the 2023-24 Rotary Year:
- Treasurer: James Morrison, Rotary Club of Point Loma, has been serving and doing a great job with funding of District Grants. Dave Brooks, from the Rotary Club of Rancho Bernardo will be serving as Treasurer.
- Fundraising: Marge Cole, Rotary Club of Mission Valley Evening, has been doing a great job with our fundraising in the district. Current DG Chuck Pretto, Rotary Club of San Diego will be serving as Fundraising Chair.
- Major Gifts, Mike Whitehurst, Rotary Club of Point Loma, has been serving and doing a great job with the Committee. He will stay on in the committee as a non-voting member, helping with our fundraising efforts.
As you can see, we are busy doing the best for your District Rotary Foundation. You are welcome to join our virtual committee meetings the 2nd Monday of every month at 1:00 PM.
