Honor Flight San Diego has dedicated their April 26-28 24 Honor Flight to 90 Vietnam combat Naval Special Warfare SEALs, UDT and Boat Guys. These men served in an unpopular war and were treated poorly on their return to San Diego. Honor Flight is giving them the Honor and “Welcome Home” that is 50 years overdue. The charter Alaska flight departs San Diego on Friday 26 April, tours the Washington DC war memorials including the Vietnam Memorial Wall and will return Sunday 28 April. The Honor Flight is completely free to every veteran.
Bring your patriotic Red, White and Blue and welcome those who served as the arrive at San Diego Airport, Terminal 2 Baggage Claim on Sunday, 28 April 2024 at 1pm. This is a family friendly tribute to those who served. Navy SEAL Rotarians past and present will be on this historic flight - come out, show your patriotism and welcome them home.
