Rotarians are invited to a fundraiser at Janice and Matt Kurth's house on November 12 from 4-6:00PM to support the refurbishing of Mt. Soledad Fire Station sleeping quarters (now pretty dismal) for its firefighting and rescue teams.
It's the only station in the area that has not been remodeled, many with private funds, and our firefighters are caught between the City's lack of funds and the need to get enough rest to be at peak performance when they are working.
