In recognition of Rotary's Enviromental Month, the Santee-Lakeside Rotary Club chose as their Rotarians at Work Day project - I love a Clean San Diego Creek Cleanup at the Kumeyaay Lake Campground in the Mission Trails Regional Park.  The club went off trail cognizant of snakes and poison oak to get into the brush area for trash and debris likely caused by run off associated with recent heavy storms.  They were accompanied by two park rangers who made sure they were safe and provided conservation and nature tips along the way.  Interactors from Santana High School also joined in and were amazing company and hard workers.
