March is Rotary water and sanitation month so San Diego Coastal Rotary Club will be partnering with SD Coastkeepers on March 26 to clean up a waterway in the Otay Valley Riverbed as well as adding native trees. We will be ridding the area of debris before it has the opportunity to make it out the ocean. We will also be doing some restoration work that will improve the ecosystem and eventually prevent run off of rainwater in the area.   All Rotarians are invited to assist with this project.

Meet at 8:45 AM at the 27th sb St./Otay River crossing in Chula Vista. Look for the blue San Diego Coastkeeper canopy in the dirt lot near the river crossing and Rotary t-shirts. That’s where you’ll start your morning by signing in and borrowing cleanup supplies or planting supplies. We will walk you through some safety information and make sure you are properly equipped to help. Please wear your 'Rotarians at Work' T-shirts, hat, comfortable clothes, closed-toed shoes, gloves and bring your water bottle and sunscreen.  No RSVP is necessary. We should be finished around noon. See you there!
