Come hear the head of one of the largest civil society organizations in the world discuss what role everyday individuals and organizations can play in addressing the Ukraine crisis - from meeting humanitarian needs to protecting human rights to de-escalating the conflict.
 
Prior to joining Rotary, Hewko was vice president for operations and compact development for the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC). At MCC, he was the principal United States negotiator for foreign assistance agreements to 26 countries in Africa, Asia, South America, the Middle East, and the former Soviet Union. Previously, Hewko worked extensively in Ukraine, Russia, and other former-Soviet countries, including supporting the working group that drafted the initial post-Soviet Ukrainian constitution.
