Now is the time to report on your Rotarians at Work Day event. Who's planning on joining the District wide NAMI Walk event for mental health? This important event in honor of Past District Governor Chuck Pretto will likely involve the support and participation of many Rotarians, however, we also know clubs have planned other events for April 27th. Most Rotarians in District 5340 realize that the last Saturday in April is known as Rotarians at Work Day encouraging club members around the world to conduct a hands-on project. Did you know that this was started here in District 5340 and has since been adopted throughout the globe? Well, you do now, and you can thank the late Bob Watson of the Rotary Club of Coronado. Just another gentle reminder about how we can change the world for the better with one small gesture at a time.
