The annual Goat for Joe Golf Tournament and Mental Health Fair is a fundraising event orchestrated by Dana and Andrea Albert through the San Marcos Rotary Club Foundation. Their presenting sponsor is Lawyers Title San Diego. Hosted by San Marcos and Oceanside Rotary clubs, this event was created in memory of Joseph Aaron Nunez, Andrea's brother, who passed away by suicide in March 2017. There are several families in North County San Diego that may have a "Joe" in their lives that is struggling with mental illness such as suicidal behavior, anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or any other debilitating mental disability.
