District Governor-Elect Don Fipps and the District Rotary Foundation Committee have approved a more generous District Designated Funds match of club cash contributions for Global Grants.  For the 2023-2024 Rotary year, club cash contributions will be matched 150% or 1.5 times the cash contribution amount.  For example, if a club contributes $5000 for a global grant, the club would be eligible for $7500 of DDF.  This decision was made to make it easier for clubs to do Global Grants in light of recent changes in The Rotary Foundation World Fund match rules.  The DDF limit for each club remains at $10,000 per club per Rotary year, which can be divided among several projects or used for a single project.

A revised copy of the Grant Policies for the 2023-2024 Rotary year is attached.  The change described above is highlighted in yellow.
