The Ninth Annual "So You think You've Got Talent San Diego" Gala was an amazing success again this year.  Th talent was better than ever and this year the audience voted for the winner by text using their smartphones.  Money raised by the Old Mission Rotary Club, Mission Valley Rotary Club, Pacific Beach Rotaract Club and Francis Parker Interact Club will help fund about 30% of the annual operating budget for the Thousand Smiles Foundation.  Thousand Smiles provides free treatment, on a quarterly basis, to less fortunate children in Mexico who suffer from lack of dental care and from facial deformities such as cleft palate at their clinics located in Ensenada in Baja.
 
The Lehoffe Trio finished in third place playing the lively second movement of Brahms Trio Number One with Leo Liang on Piano, Sunny Fan on cello and Kevin Hu on violin.  Comedienne, Ella Engelberg finished in second place with her hilarious "middle child routine;" and Soprano Chelsea Snow finished in first place singing the aria "Tu sei di che sei cinta" from the Puccini Opera, Turabdot.  Matt Risi served as the Master of Ceremonies.
