The Rotary Club of Rancho Santa Fe is embarking on an educational campaign to garner interest and financial support for a whole host of needs to support Project Mercy Projects in Mexico.
Your invited to a free fiesta at the home of Rotarian Ashley Haase which is slated for early evening on November 13. There, RCRS club members will be introducing interested persons to the club's school in Mexico which provides education to extremely poor children. The school serves children from kindergarten to graduation, most of which have never had any prior schooling due to the poverty in which they live.
In addition, participants will learn about the club's home building program, the school the club runs and which they built, and the new school they hope to build.
The main block to building the new school is ongoing funding of teachers to ensure sustainability. They hope to encourage one time, monthly and annual participation in raising the money needed for the teachers. If you have the means and capability to help with teacher salaries, the RCSF club would be most appreciative.
Also, this is an opportunity for Rotarians across District 5340 to learn more about Project Mercy and their home building projects that you or your club can get involved in.
Come for fellowship and learning; you will leave with a vision on how you can make a difference in lives of those stricken with poverty.
