For the ninth year, the La Jolla Golden Triangle (organized by Rotarian Ron Kohl) took 65 Rotarians and Rotaract's down to Ensenada on a chartered bus and painted a preschool in Ensenada.
The preschool has 300 children in attendance. There were about 100 of them at the club's project. As you'll see from the pictures, the children were so happy. They are happy because they all received toys that were collected as part of the Care 'n Share Toy Drive that took place at the Del Mar Fair in June/July and organized by the La Jolla Golden Triangle Club under the leadership of Rotarian Nancy Stoke.

A Future Rotarian,
One of the most memorable of the students was a young boy who went up to a girl (in pink) who was crying because she got to the school late and all the toys were distributed. The boy, at the moment, was selfless in his actions and offered one of his toys to her. A gesture reflective of a Rotarian in the making.

Following a very eventful day, Rotarians and Rotaractors shared a paella dinner hosted by one of the Ensenada Rotary Clubs. Then they all stayed in a downtown hotel and the bus took everyone back Sunday at 10am.
