District Governor Janice Kurth was interviewed about Rotary and its impact on the local and global communities on KNSJ 89.1 FM's Talk of the Town
 
Talk of the Town is a talk show that features discussions about politics, current events, history and contemporary subjects.  The people involved in the project include Bill Driscoll, producer, Jim Brewster, engineer,  and moderator Mike Aguirre, co-host.  The intent of the Talk of the Town talk show is to create an on-going dialog and debate on important issues of the day.  The show also includes live debates in public locations with audience participation. 
 
 
DG Kurth was a Group Study Exchange Team Leader to District 9200 (East Africa) in February, 2010 and has served District 5340 in many roles over the last 10 years and sponsored several Global Grants. Her other service activities include student mentoring and The San Diego Women’s Foundation.
 
The show featuring DG Kurth broadcasted live on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at 11am on 89.1 FM and online at knsj.org/listen. Talk of the Town airs re-runs Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 9:00 A.M. and again at 4:00 to 5:00 P.M.
