The Rotary of Escondido After Five announced plans for their annual fundraising event to be held Saturday, FEB 18th at the Lexus Centre in Escondido. The Disco Themed Gala will begin at 5pm and include silent and live auction items, dinner, dancing, and a special presentation of the Club’s “Spirit of the Community Award”. The Spirit of the Community Award recognizes individuals that exemplify service to the community of Escondido. This year’s recipient is Rich Aeling, the Community Service Director for the Escondido Sunrise Club. “Both Clubs work closely throughout the year, and the After Five Club unanimously agreed that Rich was deserving of this special recognition”. Stated Jeff Weber, After Five’s President Elect. This will be the second time this award has been presented. Since this event has a disco theme, guests are encouraged to dress accordingly. So, pull out those platform shoes, and join us for “Staying Alive with After Five”.
