District 5340 is set to launch a Member Guide and Business Directory!
If you haven't heard, District 5340 is set to publish a Member Guide and Business Directory that will share meaningful information about Rotary to club members and potential members and will promote business between Rotarians. This is Economic and Community Development Month and efforts to make this a useful tool to Rotarians is gaining speed.
Why use and advertise in a Rotary Directory of Businesses? Because we live by the Four Way Test, and we can trust that we will be fairly treated by fellow Rotarian businesses and if they know you exist, they will use you.
Here is information you will want to know about this publication:
- The Guide and Directory will be freely available online, but also up to 20,000 printed directories will be distributed annually - 5,000 in our first printing alone this January and distributed to all 65 Rotary Clubs. The second issue will be out in July and another 5,000 printed that will include the change in leadership, with additional reprints available at wholesale costs all year long to clubs for marketing purposes.
- Free printed copies will be given to all 3,000 Rotarians in the district as well as a few free copies to clubs for use in marketing and membership recruitment. Then clubs and advertisers may order additional copies throughout the year at wholesale prices.
- Everyone should like the Yellow Page section.
- For Rotarians, you will have easy access to Rotarian businesses by category.
- For advertisers, this section will be very helpful in building your business.
- The digital directory will also be available on smartphones.
- There is a free club directory portion and clubs should contact Kevin Kern at kevin@ledgemedia.net.
- If you'd like to advertise in this publication, please contact Kyle Thomas at kyle@ledgemedia.net or Daphne Fletcher at daphnerotary@gmail.com.
- The deadline for submission of ads is November 15 for both camera-ready and simple 1/16th Yellow Page format, black on yellow. Please submit to Kevin Kern at kevin@ledgemedia.net.
