Have you ever wondered what it takes to become a District Governor—or whether it might be part of your Rotary journey someday?

Join us for an informal Explore the Path to District Governor Social on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at 6:00 PM in Rancho Santa Fe.

Current and Past Club Presidents, Assistant Governors, District Committee Chairs, Rotarians serving in other district roles, and anyone interested in future district leadership are warmly invited.

Come meet members of the current Governor Line and Past District Governors, hear about their experiences, ask questions, and learn about the qualifications, club nomination process, and steps to becoming District Governor.

District 5340 is searching for the Rotarian who will serve as District Governor in 2029–2030, and applications are now open.

Not ready to apply? That’s perfectly okay. Come learn more, meet others, and explore where your Rotary journey could lead next. Rotarians from Imperial Valley to San Diego County are encouraged to attend.

Know someone who may be a great future District Governor? Encourage them to join us or share their name with Luis Carranza, Immediate Past District Governor and Chair of the District 5340 Nominating Committee.

For the Rancho Santa Fe address or additional information, contact Luis at lcarranza@rotary5340.org or 619-972-6144.

Applications and supplemental materials are available through the links below and must be submitted by September 25, 2026.
