The Rotary Club of Del Mar was delighted to sponsor a Christmas party for members of the La Colonia Branch of the Boys and Girls Club San Dieguito and their families at the La Colonia Community Center in Solana Beach. Santa joined the festivities to hear Christmas wishes from the children. This year Santa was introduced by the San Diego Sockers, whose team members stayed to sign autographs and have the kiddos join them in some soccer drills. The party featured six craft station where guests made jewelry, ornaments, succulent plant arrangements, Christmas tree paintings and the most popular station - slime!
