The Solana Beach Eco Rotary Club will be hosting a special virtual screening of the acclaimed documentary “Wild Climate” at 6:30 pm, Tuesday, August 10, 2021. The film explores the impacts of climate change on the rural communities of the West. From abrupt changes in lifestyle to crop & wildlife losses, drought, wildfires and high temperature events are having devastating impacts on millions of people.
 
Following the screening, the filmmakers, Virginia and Peter Sargent will be holding a Q&A.

This evening will be a fundraiser for their Club’s Foundation, a 501c3 which transforms donations into service projects that advance the Club’s mission to educate ourselves and our communities about environmental challenges and engage in their solutions. In conjunction with other Rotary clubs and Rotary International, our Foundation supports projects that address aspects of climate change, sustainability, education and disaster relief. The cost of the movie is $10.00.
