April 18 was a very special day for a family of six. Rotarians changed the lives of six people in only about six hours.
Members of the Santee-Lakeside Rotary, La Mesa Rotary, Chula Vista-Eastlake Rotary and Mt. Miguel Interact built a home for the Barocio Reyes family, in partnership with Project Mercy Baja - Community Development Projects Inc.
Members of the family worked alongside Rotarians to build their new home. he family was presented keys to their new home. The happiest part of the day - handing the keys over to the parents.
What was a long day, produced memories for a lifetime and an improved living environment for a wonderful and humble family.
