The Art Pratt Foundation awarded a grant in the amount of $10,000 to Humble Design. Laura Lavoie, Executive Director of Humble Design, accepted the check on behalf of the organization.
Humble Design San Diego has been providing support and hope to our San Diego neighbors transitioning out of homelessness by furnishing their homes as they move into stable housing. Since 2018, they have served 1558 clients and designed 569 homes. The Foundation grant will be used to purchase machinery to move furniture and home goods in their warehouse in Logan Heights.
