Today the exchange students joined the Encinitas Rotary Club for lunch. Each student gave a short presentation and a warm expression of thanks to our club.

A delicious lunch in the jovial atmosphere of our energetic club - joined by Valerie Lieberman (daughter of one of our members).

We present the group to our club, joined by Valerie Lieberman and Alex Rosenberg (far right), son of our past-president.

After lunch we retreat to the lounge for a few folk songs by local folk singer, Russell Castiglione.

Valerie Lieberman demonstrates her superb vocal talents with Karaoke equipment.

She encourages the group to pick a song to sing, and Jean-Charles steps up to the plate.

Jean-Charles does fine, especially "with a little help from his friends".

Next it's off to the dance studio to learn how to do the moves for the American Hip-Hop style of dance, lead by professional dancer, Joanna Lydersen.

It takes a bit of practice, but they do catch on quickly.

The girls work on putting together a dance routine for the boys

And they perform for the boys. Are they impressed??

We are treated to a short performance by two professional ballroom dancers who showed us how it's done.

Local professional actor, Bob Nanninga, arrived and gave a workshop on American dialects and Improv.

Bob has a unique ability to draw laughter out of any crowd.

Martina, Eliane, Luca and Luis are drawn to Bob's winning personality.

Francois, Jean-Charles, Gorcen, Valerie, and Peter create an Improv skit that displays superb acting skill. And we wrap up the day's performing arts activities.

Here's an additional shot of our club members enjoying the presentation during our lunch meeting.
