As
the GSE Team leader for 2002-2003, I am looking forward for
our team to visit and share with the Rotary Club of Eritrea.
Our team will have teachers with expertise and
experiences from a variety of activities. We would like
to have team members that represent all of District 5340.
The GSE planning team has asked all clubs in our
District to help identify the best team members.
I
am recently retired, after 35 years, from public education.
I was a teacher in grades K-12 in Penna., before coming
to the Grossmont Union High School. I was a teacher at
Grossmont High School before becoming one of the planners and
first teachers at Valhalla High School in El Cajon. In
1985 I moved back to Grossmont High School as a counselor.
I then became the Assistant Principal for five years.
I was the principal for my last five years at Grossmont
High school. My graduate degrees are from the University
of Pittsburgh and the University of San Diego.
Bonnie,
my wife, is a teacher, at Perry Ele. School, in the San Diego
Unified School District. Our son, daughter-in-law, and
grandson Connor live in Coranado. Our second son and his
wife live in Manhattan, N.Y.
