 The
incoming GSE Team from Ecuador (D4400) is in San Diego
in April 2005. They are hosted by local
Rotarians.
April
3, 2005
The
GSE Team arrived Sunday April 3rd at 7 pm. The photo below
shows the team leader, Rafael Quintero, leading his team
down the escalator at the S.D. Int'l. Airport. The team was
met by: DG Sandi; TRF Chair Marge Cole; GSE Chair Bill
Stumbaugh; GSE Committee members Russ Hanthorn, Bill Ashman
and David Ballesteros.
The
team is spending the night at the Sheraton, Harbor Island.
The team will receive an introductory briefing Monday
morning and then spend their first week in the Metro San
Diego Area.

Monument, Monarch High School, Southeast San Diego Rotary

team visited Grossmont High School and attended the San
Diego Padres ball game in the evening. |

There
was the District 5340 Assembly on April 9 in the morning.
In
the evening, District Foundation Chair Marge Cole hosted the
GSE team at her home. In addition to the Ecuadorian team,
members of District 5340 GSE Committee, DG Sandi, families
hosting team members and former District 5340 GSE team
members were in attendance.
