It’s Our Annual District Conference, and We’re Celebrating

100 Years of Bringing Joy to Others

John D. Spreckels. Ed Fletcher. George White Marston. Joseph Jessop. High quality names with a high purpose – bringing service above self to San Diego.

Since Club 33 began in 1911, we’ve grown from one club with 10 committed individuals to 62 clubs with 3,400 members in two counties.

Ah, we remember it like it was yesterday…

Club #33 proudly remembers welcoming Kiwanis to San Diego in 1920 and the Lions in 1921. 1921 was also the year they sponsored their first offshoot Rotary Club which, in turn, sponsored two “grandchildren” clubs. Club 33’s family tree has grown ever since, with most Rotary Clubs south of Los Angeles having direct lineage to Club #33, including several in Mexico.

Our family reunion will be an experience like no other. Because there’s nothing like the fellowship you experience at a Rotary event. And there will never again be an event like Distict 5340 partying on its 100th birthday.

This is the chance you’ve been waiting for. Spend a weekend with old friends, and make a bunch of new ones as we honor a century of service.

You DON’T want to miss it!
