Leadership & Development Academy

Providing Rotarians a foundation of knowledge and skills, to enhance the experience and deepen the commitment to ... "Service above Self."

The Academy is a comprehensive 8 month study program of Rotary information, designed to develop those who wish to better serve as leaders and service providers within the district and local club. The curriculum consists of 8 interactive lessons. Course material and lessons will be distributed to enrollees in January.

During the Academy year, four class sessions will be held for all students for instruction, discussion and learning. Graduation will be held in October with awards and certificates.

Testimony

Rotarians,

Think you know Rotary? How it began... its structure... goals... avenues of service... Foundation? The Leadership & Development Academy (LDA) is an excellent program available to District 5340 club members who have an insatiable appetite for Rotary. Want to be a Rotary leader, perhaps President of Rotary International some day? Registration is now underway for the next LDA Class! Visit the district website at www.rotary5340.org, click on "Academy" and learn more and sign up!

You will gain prestige and collect new friends! Others will be in awe of your knowledge of Rotary! OK, maybe a little carried away here. But, you will NOT regret being a graduate of this great program.

Lead the Way,
Carl Kruse, 2006-07 President, Rancho Bernardo Sunrise
(LDA Class of 2005)
