For the 4th year running, all the Rotary Clubs in Oceanside, plus Camp Pendleton, were invited to ride the Rotary float in the annual Oceanside Independence Day Parade. It was the best turnout yet with members, family and guests from Oceanside and San Luis Rey Rotary Clubs proudly and patriotically supporting the City of Oceanside, while promoting Rotary to the community at the same time.

 

Leading the Rotarians this year was one of Oceanside’s own local treasures, Larry Hatter. Rotarian Hatter has been a stalwart supporter of everything Oceanside over the years, including recently spearheading Oceanside Rotary’s mentorship focus on the at-risk youth in the Crown Heights area of the city.
