A Rotary Star Has Gone Out

I am sad to report that Bill Sturgeon passed away today at home in Coronado.
 
A Past District Governor, Youth Exchange Officer, Summer Camp Youth Exchange Chair and founder of District 5340 MusiCamp Youth Exchange, Bill epitomized Service Above Self with a particular passion for youth service and music.
 
He continued to organize, support and attend MusiCamp and other youth exchange programs year-round despite the difficulty imposed by the progression of his pulmonary condition.
 
Those of us who worked closely with Bill for more than a decade will remember and miss his friendship, great sense of humor and unequaled knowledge of youth exchange procedures and processes. I trust he is now at peace. Please keep Barb and his family in your hearts, thoughts and prayers.
